A licensed residential real estate agent since 2015, Desiree, also known in the community as Dez, is a hard-working and loyal multi-tasker with impeccable skills in client care, marketing, and negotiation. She values high moral standards and attention to detail. Desiree’s clients appreciate her gift for connections, interpreting needs, and work ethic that pushes her to go the extra mile (or ten). Dez is dedicated, invested and knowledgeable. As a transplant to the area in late 2016, she knows what it means to acclimate to—and navigate—a new city. As a working mom of 5 children and 1 grand baby, she understands the way homes need to function for families and is happy to share a strong network of resources related to parenting and children, from schools, churches, camps, & other avenues for support. She serves on the board of the Topsail Island Association of Realtors, she sits as Surf City Promotions, Special Events, & Tourism Advisory Committee chairman, is President of the Surf City Fire Department Auxillary, and the Director of Arts & Environment at her church all of which give her great connections in her community. She holds the designation of Coastal Property Specialist and is a top-producer with WIT Realty which is all due to the hard work & relationships she has built.

She has commuted to Wilmington & Jacksonville for years, affording her an in-depth understanding of commute times, transportation options, and the importance of considering these factors when settling into a home.

Desiree also works closely with those looking to gain equity through island home purchases that turn in to vacation rentals. Her knowledge and network with local lenders, insurance agents, and tradesmen have helped her clients reach their investment goals.

Dez and her family live on the island in Surf City. She is enamored with the Topsail area and all it has to offer. When not helping clients, you can find her at the beaches and parks in the area supporting her children in all their extracurricular events. Her husband, Doug, a registered nurse and Surf City fireman, are often found side by side helping the community & spending time with family. She is deeply connected to her community, frequenting events, and supporting Topsail businesses, non-profit organizations, & schools. She loves to assist our military families, investors, new residents, and people looking to put down roots in the area.
